The Church Series: My Support System Doesn't Really Include JESUS

Some people can go through life without acknowledging how they made it. In times of struggle, they may rely on their capabilities, and resources to get them out. They may even rely on their families, and friends as well. However, GOD will create a circumstance, where no power of man can rescue. YOU WILL RUN TO GOD, or you will face DEATH. There is ABSOLUTELY no way- I repeat- NO WAY you can withstand life, without GOD.

GOD is the foundation of support. JESUS IS SUPPORT!

Psalm 121 (NLT):

I look up to the mountains—

does my help come from there?

My help comes from the Lord,

who made heaven and earth!

He will not let you stumble;

the one who watches over you will not slumber.

Indeed, he who watches over Israel

never slumbers or sleeps.

The Lord himself watches over you!

The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.

Merriam-Webster defines support as:

Jesus is all of the above, and THEN SOME!

Where do I EVEN begin? GOD is THEE REASON of my life. If it had not been because of His Love, Jesus, I would not be here today. I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT! GOD, has kept me through the years, and continues to do so! It is because of Him, I AM SANE. Living in this flesh-trending, world, you need to be anchored; anchored on a solid Rock (Psalm 18:31)! A solid Rock that does not sway to, and fro, but remains consistent through the times! I thank GOD for being GOD. I thank JESUS for being JESUS! He is Thee Creator, Author, Illustrator of ALL things. GOD is Alpha, and Omega. Thee Beginning, and the End! The Head, and the Tail!

What Qualifies Jesus?

John 3:16 (KJV):

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Friends are just that: friends. Jesus DIED for you! If that does not define loyalty, then I do not know what does! If that does not define "ride, or die," then I do not know what does! ! If that does not define love, then I do not know what does!

This is the kind of friend who knows what SUPPORT is all about!

I do not know if your friends would do this! Give their ONLY child, as a sacrifice, so YOU could live—physically, and spiritually! You should ask them this question. See what their answers are.

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) expresses how, “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” This verse is speaking of Jesus. What a dear friend we have in Jesus. He got nailed on a cross, as THEE ultimate sacrifice, for us. A friend that is eternally available unto us.

Now please understand, you need to be in a position to receive help from Thee Almighty. You cannot be out here KNOWINGLY living life as YOU see fit, and then want to only call on GOD when you get into some deep trouble! Even though you are secretly waiting to go back to it once you feel you are able to!

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV):

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Proverbs 16:25 (KJV):

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

When GOD has to repeat Himself, He is making Himself very clear!

Man walking in mans’ way will lead to DEATH. Point. Blank. Period.

GOD knows our hearts! He knows it all! Without the Holy Ghost dwelling in us, our hearts are vile. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it” (Jeremiah 17:9, KJV)? Please, believe GOD is in "The Know" of every thing we encounter. Again, GOD is not a "hotline" god, where you can call Him when you are in a hot mess, but fine without Him when you think all is going your way. He does not work like that!

Jesus has died, and rose, but now resides at the right side of The Father ( Luke 22:69). Through His obedience, He had taken away the wall that was between GOD, and man. He is now the bridge to GOD. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6, KJV). Does the people in your support system have a DIRECT line to ALL THE ANSWERS to your troubles? Do they have access to resources that will NEVER run out? You should ask them these questions. See what their answers are.

Jesus is interceding for you! “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us” (Romans 8:34, KJV). This means He is working on our behalf! Not when He feels like it, BUT ALL OF THE TIME!

What we fail to understand is that Jesus is truly supportive to those who love Him, and is obedient to the role He plays in their lives: LORD AND SAVIOR. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, KJV). You just have to live right in His name, and He will take care of the rest!

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:28, KJV).

When you are walking with Jesus. You are walking with SOLID support. No one, nor thing will be able to take you down. You will always have protection within The Will of GOD!

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,”Says the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17). The scripture CLEARLY spells out that not one, not some, but NONE will be able to overcome you! That is what the support of Jesus can do for you! Guaranteed protection around the clock—24/7! He is beyond Five Star service!

Psalm 34:18 (NLT):

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

Psalm 147:3 (NLT):

"He heals the brokenhearted

and bandages their wounds."

When the children of Israel cried out to GOD, because Pharaoh was treating them harshly, GOD came to their rescue (Book of Genesis). Not only did He take them into His arms, but He overcame their enemies, fed, kept, and clothed them, and protected them through His guidance!

Psalm 147:11 (KJV): “The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.”

Jesus loves when you call on Him for help! He cannot wait to show up, and show out! Only those who truly incline to His love, understands the POWER of His support! It is because of Him, I am standing able today!

Support is more than just a hug, or someone to talk to. Support is 365, or 366 (leap year) days, of full coverage, non-stop! Whether it is emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental! It goes beyond these "wordly" expectations!

Without Jesus, does your “support group”:

1. Agree to be beaten, afterwards carrying a heavy cross to their death, and then finally being nailed on a cross for all humanity’s sake?

2. Have direct access to boundless resources, which will be able to fulfill you for life?

Please answer: YES or NO

3. Have the ability to act as a defense against all your wrong doings, so that He can ensure your well-being is secured for eternity?

Please answer: YES or NO

4.Have the assurance of protection from ALL harmful, and even lethal dangers that this world WILL bring?

Please answer: YES or NO

Were you able to answer YES to all of the above?

If not, then you should probably reconsider who all are included in your support system.
